Homeless Shelter – Onslow County

The Homeless Shelter is a temporary, emergency housing program. It operates seven days a week from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Shelter intake by appointment only Monday – Friday.

The shelter strives to meet the basic and immediate needs of individuals in need of emergency shelter. Services include shelter, food, clothing, and counseling. Clients must commit to self-improvement activities.

The following is required of prospective residents

  • Remain drug/alcohol-free
  • Maintain or seek employment if capable
  • No violent criminal background
  • Not a registered sex offender

Donations of breakfast foods (such as cereal bars, cereal, and milk), socks, full-size body wash/shampoo, tennis shoes, and cleaning supplies are always needed.

If you would like to sponsor or serve a nightly meal for the Homeless Shelter, please contact the shelter director at 910-238-4025 to schedule.

Monetary donations are always appreciated and will be tax deductible.
