“I get by on social security and don’t have extra money at the end of the month. The meals at the kitchen are good, the cooks are excellent and the volunteers are friendly. By coming here I’m able to stretch my social security and get a good meal. I have been coming for years and don’t know what I would do if the soup kitchen wasn’t here.”
